- Building and closing your own $1M+ book of business through outbound outreach, referrals, and ecosystem engagement
- Owning the full sales cycle — from lead generation to close — with a focus on VC-funded and product-led companies
- Leading commercial conversations with founders, CTOs, and senior decision-makers
- Acting as a strategic advisor to clients on how to scale their engineering and delivery teams
- Ensuring an excellent client experience from first contact to handoff
- Collaborating with internal teams to align on scope, timelines, and success metrics
- Partnering with marketing to support GTM campaigns and content initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in business development, tech sales, or recruitment — ideally in software services or IT consulting
- Proven ability to self-source and close $1M+ in new business annually
- Strong track record in strategic sales and senior stakeholder engagement
- Skilled negotiator comfortable with complex deal structures
- Passionate about client success and building long-term partnerships
- Highly self-sufficient — you create your own momentum
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
- Analytical mindset — you use data to guide decisions and qualify opportunities
- Familiarity with software development processes or experience working alongside tech teams is a strong plus

Compensation: Base Salary: $85,000 - $95,000. On Target Earnings: $140,000 - $160,000 (base + bonuses)
