Position Overview
Vention is a global engineering partner to tech leaders and fast-growing startups, combining 20+ years of product development expertise with an AI-first approach and a reputation for reliable delivery.
With offices across New York, London, and Europe – and a revenue target of $250M – we’re scaling fast. Now we’re looking for an exceptional Client Partner to deepen and grow some of our most strategic relationships across the UK and Europe.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and expand a portfolio of 10–15 accounts, with full ownership over relationship strategy and growth
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and whitespace opportunities to scale account value and client outcomes
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, mapping their goals to actionable product and engineering solutions
- Build and execute strategic account plans informed by data, insights, and market trends
- Lead QBRs and executive engagements that deepen relationships and unlock new initiatives
- Proactively mitigate risk, manage escalations, and maintain high client satisfaction
- Partner closely with Sales, Delivery, and Talent to ensure flawless execution and retention
- Monitor KPIs and report on account health to internal stakeholders and leadership
- Stay on the pulse of innovation – bringing insights on AI, GenAI, and product acceleration to every conversation
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in enterprise account management, client services, or customer success in custom software development or IT consulting
- Experience managing £10M+ portfolios and navigating senior stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated success growing key accounts via upselling, cross-selling, and delivering long-term value
- Expert in customer experience, relationship building, and account expansion strategy
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and delivery methodologies
- Data-driven, with the ability to extract insights from metrics and act accordingly
- Highly autonomous and proactive — you own outcomes, not just activities
