- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and/or Playwright
- Design, implement, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of web applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement testing strategies
- Identify, record, and track bugs to ensure timely resolution
- Enhance existing automation frameworks and propose new solutions to improve efficiency
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Provide detailed reports on test results and quality metrics
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in automated testing
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in automated testing
- Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (Cypress and/or Playwright)
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (other languages are a plus)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and processes, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs) and experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies with 2-4 years of experience in automated quality assurance
- Proven ability to develop and maintain automated test suites for web applications across multiple browsers and devices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and test plan design skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality and a willingness to learn new technologies
