• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using PHP
• Build and enhance REST APIs, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture design, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following OOP principles, SOLID practices, and design patterns
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and system reliability
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality features
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and promote engineering best practices
• Develop and maintain automated tests, ensuring robust and stable software releases
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and containerized application development using Docker
• Support technical planning, estimation, and architectural decision-making within the team
• Mentor junior and middle developers and share knowledge across the engineering organization

• 5+ years of professional PHP development experience
• Strong knowledge of PHP 8.x, OOP, SOLID principles, and software design patterns
• Hands-on experience with Laravel and/or Symfony frameworks
• Strong experience working with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database design
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with unit and integration testing using PHPUnit and/or Pest
• Strong understanding of software architecture and backend development best practices
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of technical solutions, and drive initiatives to completion
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a distributed team environment

• Experience with Redis for caching and performance optimization
• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other message brokers
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
