• Design and evolve scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native solutions for business-critical applications
• Define end-to-end solution architecture, including system decomposition, service boundaries, data ownership, integration contracts, and communication patterns
• Lead architectural decision-making across multiple engineering teams, balancing business needs, technical requirements, cost, and long-term maintainability
• Drive architecture reviews, establish technical standards, and ensure alignment with engineering best practices
• Design and optimize large-scale distributed systems leveraging modern architectural patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, serverless, and modular monoliths where appropriate
• Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technical solutions
• Guide cloud architecture initiatives on AWS or Azure, focusing on scalability, resilience, security, disaster recovery, and cost optimization
• Lead architecture modernization, cloud migration, and platform transformation programs
• Define and promote Infrastructure as Code practices using technologies such as AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools
• Mentor engineers and technical leads, fostering architectural excellence and helping teams make sound technical decisions
• Evaluate technology choices, frameworks, and architectural patterns, including understanding when a particular approach is not the right fit
• Contribute to long-term technology strategy and support the successful delivery of complex technical initiatives

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years working with .NET/C# in production environments
• Proven track record of designing and delivering complex, large-scale distributed systems
• Experience leading technical and architectural decisions across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Strong expertise with at least one major cloud platform, preferably AWS or Azure
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles, including high availability, multi-AZ deployments, disaster recovery, scalability, security, identity and access management, serverless architecture, and cost optimization
• Deep knowledge of software architecture concepts and patterns, including monoliths, modular monoliths, microservices, event-driven systems, serverless architectures, and distributed systems
• Strong expertise in architectural principles and practices such as SOLID, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga, Outbox/Inbox patterns, and idempotency
• Experience defining domain boundaries, service boundaries, integration strategies, and architectural dependencies
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical direction across diverse teams
